Squash Liverpool C.I.C is a pioneering, award-winning community organisation, rooted and home-grown on Windsor Street, Liverpool 8. The Squash cafe, kitchen & shop is a neighbourhood treasure housed in a beautiful, community-designed eco food hub alongside abundant kitchen gardens.
Squash are committed to organic, free range, ethically sourced, house made staples and home grown produce. The delicious vegetarian and vegan menus are full of fresh, seasonal flavours, prepared for daily, and weekly rolling menus. Squash has won BBC Food and Farming award for Best Shop & Lancashire Life Magazine Best Producer award.
Since 2007 we have been making positive social change and prioritising well-being for all in our neighbourhood through participatory food and art practices including food-growing and cooking, arts and crafts and seasonal rituals & events.
Squash has a commitment to its own ‘Soup it Forward’ initiative. Diners, shoppers and visitors are encouraged to pay for a fresh free soup for anyone in need of nourishment.
